Again today I am here with a side dish,a non veg curry. If you are a regular reader of this blog,I have already mentioned that our favorite sea food is Prawns.Any thing made out of it,from snacks to side dishes or rice is completely wiped off.I have already prepared snacks like this and this. And gravy types like this and a Biriyani long back.
Today's recipe is a simple yet delicious rich and creamy Prawns gravy which goes well with Basmati type rices and also with Chapati ,Naan or any type of rotis.
The prawns are marinated and fried, then added to the gravy. There are no tomatoes or chilly powder added but it has a superb taste of the Coconut milk, and that elevates its taste. Now off to the recipe:
Prawns 350 gms (cleaned and washed well)
Ginger and Garlic pasted 1/4 tsp each
Pepper powder 1/2 tsp
Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
Salt as needed
Lime juice 1 tsp
Rest of the Ingredients
Onion 2 large finely chopped
Green Chillies 3 slit
Ginger and Garlic paste 1/2 tsp each
Cashew nuts 6-8 (soaked in 1/4 cup water)
Coconut milk 2nd extract 13/4 cup
Coconut milk 1st extract 1 cup
Pepper powder 1/4 to 1/2 tsp
Salt as needed

Coriander leaves chopped 2 tbsp
Method Of Cooking
-Marinate the cleaned prawns with the ingredients under 'to marinate' and keep for half an hour.

-When the Ginger-Garlic turns brown add the chopped onion and saute till transparent.
-Now add the thin Coconut milk ,pepper powder and salt.
