Bread Rings

Time for another Challenge in the MFB Challenges and this time the  theme was to prepare a bookmarked recipe from a Muslimah Blogger and re-create it.I never thought I could make this because I was till in the hangover after coming back from India.Kids had already missed their two week classes,we being late to return after vacation.
Preparing a recipe from the bookmarked ones was a real tough job for me,as I have a load of bookmarked recipes hehe..Suddenly my eyes struck on this recipe,It was from Faseela's blog. She has a variety of dishes on her blog but I had bookmarked this one, seeing all the easily available ingredients and easy one to prepare.
I have followed the same recipe but decreased the amount of sugar used. The kids enjoyed it well.

Ingredients
Bread slices  10
Semolina/Rava 1 cup
Sugar   3 tbsp
Salt a pinch
Baking powder 1/2 tsp
Egg 1
Milk   2-3 tsp (or as needed)
Cardamom 5
Oil  to deep fry
Method of preparation
-In a blender add  bread .Blend it well into crumbs.Transfer it into a bowl.
-Now blend the Semolina, sugar, salt, baking powder and the cardamom, till powdered.
-Mix this with the bread crumbs.
-Now add the beaten egg and milk to the mixture.
-Knead to form a dough.
-Take small balls from it and roll it as a log and join the two ends to form a ring.Repeat this with the whole dough.
-Heat oil in a pan and fry the rings on medium flame till it turns reddish brown in color.
