Masala Stuffed Mutta Bonda/Egg Bonda

There was a time when we used to make this snack often during Ramadan.Once at an Iftar party in my cousins house, while she was preparing a similar recipe with eggs suddenly the oil burst and from then on my mother was worried and didn't let us make these, but rarely we used to.But she didn't let us make this on our own ,she did the flipping etc and kept it covered while frying. All in whole she was extra careful while frying egg snacks...

This year before Ramadan once when I and my sisters were chatting we told each other how we used to like this snack that time though none of us liked the hard boiled eggs. And this time during Ramadan I prepared this 2-3 times, and Ma Sha Allah it came out well. The egg should be coated well in the batter and the flame should be kept on medium while frying. My children too doesn't eat eggs other than in snack forms like this one. They enjoyed having this bonda with ketchup.
Hard boiled eggs   3
Onion    3 medium,finely chopped
Green chillies    3 crushed
Ginger finely chopped    1 tsp
Garlic      4 cloves crushed
Turmeric powder  1/4 tsp
Garam masala powder  1/4 tsp
Coriander leaves chopped     1/4 cup
Salt  to taste
Oil  3 tsp
For The Batter
All purpose Flour  1 cup
Rice Flour  2 tbsp
Chilly Powder 1/4 tsp
Salt  1/4 tsp
Water  3/4 to 1 cup (to make a thick batter)
Oil  to deep fry

Method Of Preparation
-Cut the boiled eggs into half .Remove the yolks, crumble it with your fingers and keep this aside.
-Now cut each egg white into 3 or 4 equal parts(so that it becomes easy to deep fry....refer image 2) and keep this also aside.
-Heat a pan and add 3 tsp of oil. When the oil turns hot add the chopped onion. When the onion turns transparent add in the ginger, garlic and green chillies. Now add in the turmeric powder and garam masala.Mix and add in the salt and the crumbled egg yolk.Lastly add  the chopped coriander leaves, mix and switch off the flame.

-When the egg yolk masala cools down, take a little portion from it and place it firmly inside each egg white(image below). If you have the leftover masala without the egg whites you can shape them into balls (image 5)
-Now to make the batter,in a bowl add All purpose flour, rice flour, chilly powder and salt.Mix this well and add water little at a time to make a thick batter.
-Heat a wok(which has a lid) with oil to deep fry.
-Take each egg white with the filling ,slowly dip it in the batter(it should coat well) and carefully put it in the oil.
-Fry in batches till golden brown on both sides.Fry on medium flame. While frying cover it with the lid.Once cooked well on both sides remove it with a slotted spoon on tissue paper.
-Serve with ketchup or just like that with tea.
