Liver Curry

The climate is slightly changing to winter, with some cool breeze in the morning and evening but the afternoons are very hot.My Dad sometimes tell us that he can't bear the Winter here (in Qatar) and the Summer in Kerala. He is planning to visit us shortly and my kids are eagerly waiting.
Now on to today's recipe it's a Liver curry.I have already posted a Liver fry sometime back. This curry goes well with all types of rotis and even Ghee rice etc.The Liver is first cooked in a pressure cooker and then added to the masala and coated well and tastes so good when blended with all those spices. Now on to the ingredients and method.
Ingredients
Liver (Beef or Mutton)    450 gm (cleaned and cut into cubes)
Onion   2 large(sliced)
Tomato  1 large ''
Ginger paste  1tsp
Garlic paste    11/2 tsp
Curry leaves   1 sprig
Turmeric powder 1/4 + 1/4 tsp
Chilly powder  3/4 spoon
Coriander powder 1 tbsp
Cumin powder  1/4 tsp
Pepper powder   1/2 tsp
Clove  3
Cardamom 1
Cinnamon  1/2 inch piece
Fennel seeds  a pinch
Salt  to taste
Oil   2 tbsp

Method
-Pressure cook the Liver along with 1/2 cup water ,1/4 tsp turmeric powder and a little salt for 3-4 whistles or until cooked.
-Heat a pan and add oil.Now add the whole spices one by one Cinnamon,Cardamom,Cloves, the fennel seeds and the Curry leaves.
-After 2 seconds add in the chopped Onion and saute till transparent, add in the ginger garlic paste and saute again for 1 or 2 minutes.

-Add in the powders - chilly, coriander and 1/4 tsp turmeric.Saute for a minute.
-Now add the cooked Liver pieces along with the remaining water in the pressure cooker.Mix everything very well.Check salt and add if needed.Cover it with a lid and cook on medium low heat for 10 minutes. If the gravy is too thick you can add a little hot water.
-Open the lid and add the pepper powder and the Cumin seeds powder.Mix well.
-After 2 minutes switch off the flame and serve.
