This chutney goes well with Dosa,Idly or Vadas..and for me with Rice too..

2.Coconut grated   11/2 cup
3.Mustard seeds       1/2 tsp

6.Curry leaves         few
7.Onion                  1 small
8.Garlic                  3 cloves
9.Green chilli           2
10.Salt                   as per taste
11.Oil                     1 tbsp
Method
-Heat oil in a pan add mustard seeds. When this splutters add the ingredients 4,5 and 6 one by one.Saute till color changes lightly.

  1. My interpretation of tomato chutney is the wet and gooey version but yours is a good change, one I should also try out. Its a drier version which can be kept longer. Lovey recipe.
