Bread Slices 2
Besan Powder 3/4 cup
Water 1/2 cup
Green Chillies 2-3 chopped
Coriander leaves chopped 3 tbs
Onion finely chopped 1/2 of a medium
Salt to taste
Oil for deep frying
Method
-In a bowl add all the ingredients other than oil and the bread pieces Mix well to form a batter.
-Heat oil in a kadai/wok.
-When the oil turns hot(not smoky hot),dip each bread piece in the batter, coat well all the sides and deep fry flipping both sides.
-When it turns golden brown, remove from the oil using a slotted spoon onto a tissue paper.
-Serve with your favorite sauce.
*The oil should be on medium to high heat while cooking.
*The bread pieces float on the oil,so once the down part turns golden brown flip to the other side and press a little into the oil using the slotted spoon so that it fries all the sides too.
*The pakodas does not absorb oil at all.
