Sometimes I ask myself what curry will I make for dinner, and if by chance my sound becomes a little clear for my children then their answer is loud and clear 'Chicken'.It is not at all a problem if they had Chicken the previous day or even that day afternoon.
Usually I make a simple Chicken curry in pressure cooker but after this recipe I go for this mostly instead of that regular gravy, because with the same ingredients if just a grinding can make a difference why not try that. Then when there is enough grated coconut in the freezer I change the chicken curry to this style along with Potatoes. Then there is this Pepper Chicken masala or this Chicken Kurma which I make rarely.
Few days back there was a little Yogurt left to finish before the expiry date.So while I planed to make a Chicken Coconut curry ,I changed the plan of adding Coconut milk and Yogurt ideas came into my mind. This curry doesn't have a very thick gravy but goes well with all types of Indian bread. Also when you want to try something different from the usual chicken curry this goes well. The addition of kasuri methi(dried fenugreek leaves) adds a special aroma to the curry. For this recipe use the thick Yogurt (Greek style) and not that sour type curd/yogurt.
