Olives have great nutritional and medical benefits.Both the fruit and its oil is very commonly used in almost all food types starting from the salads to side dishes and the main course.You can find it used as toppings on Pizzas,pastas etc and the oil used in blending side dishes like Hummus,Mutabbal etc.Some apply it as hair oil or on body parts as massage due to its medical values.
Olives are mentioned in the Holy Quran several times as Zaithoon(Arabic word for olives).Also there are Hadiths regarding the benefits of this fruit and its oil.In the Holy Quran there are mentions in Surah's- Al Noor,Al Anaam etc...The Almighty says :
"And a tree (Olive) that springs forth from Mount Sinai,that grows oil,and (it is a ) relish for the eaters."(23:20)
Also a verse starts with this fruits name....
"By the Fig and the Olive"(95:1)....and another verse:
"And Olives and Dates"(80:29)....You can find many more...
Ingredients
Macaroni 250 gm
Chicken cooked and shredded 11/2 cup
(Cook the chicken pieces with a little pepper powder and salt)
Butter 10 gms
Onion 1 large finely chopped
Tomato 1 large finely chopped
Ginger and Garlic paste 1 tsp
Green Chillies 2
Pepper powder 1/2 tsp
Salt as needed
Mixed Olives 3/4 cup
Capsicum sliced 1 small(optional)
Mozzarella cheese 3/4 cup
Method
-Cook the Macaroni till soft as per packet instruction.Drain and keep aside.
-Melt butter in a wok and add the Ginger Garlic paste along with the green chillies.When it turns slightly brown add the chopped onion and let it turn translucent.Now add in the chopped tomato,salt,pepper powder and saute well.
-Now add in the cooked pasta and mix well.
-In a baking dish ,layer half the cooked pasta,then spread the shredded chicken,then a little cheese.Cover it with the remaining pasta and top it with the sliced Capsicum,Olives and the remaining Cheese.
-Bake this in an oven at 170° for 10 to 12 minutes or till the cheese melts.

Such an overloaded pasta with lots of chicken and olives.. the kids will really love this!
