Kiwi Chammanthi
After my Inji Puli recipe, here I am with another condiment. Two days back I was planning to prepare the usual chammanti when suddenly my eyes got stuck on a Kiwi lying inside my fruit basket.Thought why not try adding this to the chammanthi, also the fruit was not all that sweet.
It didn't make much a difference so was taken by the family as usual excluding my kids who are not very interested in chammanthis.
Ingredients
Kiwi 1
Coconut grated 3/4 cup
Green chillies 2-3
Garlic 1 clove
Coriander leaves chopped 1/4 cup
Salt as needed
Lime juice 2 -3 tsp
Procedure
-Peel the Kiwi and cut into half and discard the middle white portion. Then cut into pieces.
-Add everything except lime juice, in the small jar of the mixer and grind it into a smooth paste.
-Transfer to a bowl add lime juice and mix well and serve.
